This week's movie topic is movies that feature running.
Chariots of Fire was the first movie that came to mind. Then I thought of a movie I saw in the 80s in Canada--the Terry Fox Story.
I also thought of the Pre movies I know of: Without Limits and Prefontaine. Students are shown these films to get ready for track season, that's how I know about Pre.

interesting that students view these films to help train for track. I thought of Chariots of Fire too. I think it must be the best film about runners don't you think? Kaye—the road goes ever ever on
I have never seen Chariots of Fire. I know, I should be ashamed of myself. BUT I can contribute to the conversation by saying that Diana's last bf, Dodi, was one of the producers.
I haven't seen either of these films. Interesting.
And of course, Forrest Gump!
I saw Chariots sooooo long ago that I really don't remember a thing about it other than the theme music and how inspired it made me feel. Time for a re-visit!
