I think Carol Burnett's sketch IMPROVED that movie. Scarlett, omg, what a classless idiot.

You're well ahead of me on this list, that's for sure.

It's really because of the film classes I had in college. The whole class is on this list.

Katie Scarlett O'Hara kept her entire extended family fed under the most trying circumstances. She always played the hand she was dealt and did the best she could. She ROCKED! And, as God is my witness, no one can dissuade me of this.

The ones I've never seen are Lawrence of Arabia and Dr. Zhivago. Sweeping epics in foreign lands (and Omar Sharif) just bore me.

Considering what you teach, I think you'd really like Duck Soup. It's the Marx Bros. take on government. Hail, hail Freedonia!

Swiped and posted.

You've got me beat by 5 movies. I never took a film class but have had cable in the house since 1981.

I made myself watch all 100 movies as part of my 101 Things in 1001 Days challenge. The Gal is right. You'd probably really like Duck Soup. Likewise Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, and maybe Grapes of Wrath.

Say, what do you think of taking the updated Top 100 and watching 1 per week, and writing your thoughts on it, as a weekly meme? I think I'll set that up. Hope you'll join in!
